Make-A-Wish Presents 2nd Annual 'So You *WISH* You Could Skate'

December 10, 2012

On Wednesday, December 12th, high profile local media personalities and San Diego celebrities will go head to head at the Hotel Del Coronado’s beachside ice skating rink for a one-of-a-kind ice skating competition to raise awareness for Make-A-Wish Foundation's 7th annual national Season of Wishes holiday campaign and overall goal to spread hope, joy and love this holiday season.

A creative spin on the hit show So You Think You Can Dance, the So You WISH You Could Skate skating competition invites Wish Kids to be treated to a welcome reception with treats and hot cocoa, a meet & greet with media personalities and local celebrities and front row seats to the show.

Beat THAT!
Hosted by reigning champs and KUSI anchors, Brad Perry and Alexis DelChiaro, skating teams include media personalities from NBC 7, Channel 933, Union-Tribune, Energy 933 and FOX 5 to be judged by Bachelor Pad alums Kiptyn Locke and Tenley Molzahn and CEO and President of Make-A-Wish San Diego, Chris Sichel.

The show will begin at 6:30pm and is open to the public.  Guests will be able to enjoy the show from The Del's Sun Deck adjacent to the rink where special large screen TVs will capture the action on the ice and refreshments will be offered.  The ice skating rink will be open to Make-A-Wish families for an evening of skating following the competition.
