San Diego may be one of the best cities in the country for great happy hour specials, if you know how to work them. This Saturday, July 6 from 1 to 6 p.m, experience nearly 20 of downtown San Diego's most desirable (and most lucrative) happy hours at the Taste of Happy Hour, a self guided tour organized by the King of Happy Hour himself! This 4th of July weekend, enjoy food samples and exclusive drink specials as you learn where to go to get the biggest bang for your buck!

​For the price of admission, patrons receive food offerings from all participating locations, a tequila sampling courtesy of Fortaleza Tequila, a tasting of the newest beverage on the market courtesy of SakTea, as well as exclusive drink specials and admission to the after party!​ Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online. Check in will be at Taste & Thirst for your badge and map. SanDiegoVille is also running a contest on Facebook where two lucky San Diegans will each win a pair of tickets to this event.

Participating restaurants and bars include Taste & Thirst, Bub's at the Ballpark, The Tipsy Crow, The Blind Burro, The Commons Bar, Whiskey Girl, Magnolia Tap & Kitchen, La Puerta, Bailiwick, Brick+Mortar, East Village Tavern + Bowl, La Fiesta, Urban Bar & Grill, House of Blues, Gaslamp Tavern, Dragon's Den, Henry's Pub, with more locations to be added.  Taste & Thirst is not only the check in location, but they are also the host of the after-party, which includes a DJ (to be announced) starting at 6pm and 1/2 off drinks till 8pm!
