The
30th Annual Heritage Ball will be a starry, magnificent night filled with live entertainment, dancing, delicious food, and a fabulous live auction and opportunity drawing items. This annual Ball will be held on Saturday, August 17 at 6:00 PM, with Executive Director, Father David Gaa, event co-chairs and local community volunteers, Gigi Gleason, and Robbie Hass, as well as the presenting sponsor, Tri-City Medical Center at the helm, guaranteed to be an evening to remember.
This night will be a celebration amongst friends and family dedicated to maintaining this national, historical, and beloved landmark, Old Mission San Luis Rey, the King of the Missions. Guests will be greeted by the musical talents of Mariachi Del Mar as they enjoy a casual cocktail and hors d’oeuvres in the breathtaking Rose Garden at the Old Mission San Luis Rey. During the cocktail hour, guests will be given one last chance to purchase an opportunity drawing ticket, featuring a cruise for up to ten days on Holland America Line. As the celebrations continue, attendees will be guided to the Heritage Lawn where guests are sure to have their appetites amazed during the dinner hour, featuring a gourmet three-course meal from the experts at Hunter Steakhouse and a delectable dessert trio presented by the chefs of Old Mission San Luis Rey.
Auction paddles will be raised high at the event during a thrilling live auction featuring auction items such as; a private catered dinner party at Fratelli’s Italian Kitchen, a getaway for four to Cabo San Lucas, a four hour sailboat cruise on the bay, and more! Once dinner is served, the sounds of the ever-engaging NRG Music and Productions, specializing in music from the 40s-90s, is guaranteed to keep guests dancing and entertained all night long. To highlight the evening, guests will also have the pleasure of feasting their eyes on a spectacular private firework show and enjoy dancing under the stars in honor of the event's 30th year!
All proceeds of the Heritage Ball benefit the preservation of Old Mission San Luis Rey ensuring the enjoyment of this historic landmark for generations to come.
