Spirits of Mexico Tequila Trail Event Returns to Old Town Sept. 19

Tequila Trail, part of the 10th annual Spirits of Mexico Festival, returns to Old Town San Diego on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. For the price of a $35 ticket, Mexican cuisine and tequila lovers will blaze through the streets of Old Town sampling selections of agave spirits paired with culinary specialties from 10 participating restaurants.

Sponsored by Olmeca Altos Tequila, the event boasts the finest tequilas, mescals, sotols, bacanoras and other Mexican spirits as well as culinary specialties from 10 of Old Town’s celebrated eateries - Barra Barra Saloon, Café Coyote, Casa de Reyes, Casa Guadalajara, El Alamo, El Patio, La Piñata, Miguel’s Cocina, Old Town Mexican Café, Rockin’ Baja Coastal Cantina and The Cosmopolitan Restaurant.

The 2013 Tequila Trail is a fundraiser for the Old Town Chamber of Commerce and is made possible by Olmeca Altos Tequila, Fiesta de Reyes, and the IWSC Group, producers of Spirits of Mexico.  
Following the end of Tequila Trail, an after party will commence at Casa de Reyes. The after party requires an additional $10 admission and includes dessert.
