Amplified Ale Works Celebrates One Year on November 1 | Cali-Kebab's In House Brewery Kicks Off Beer Week With Anniversary Party

October 23, 2013

Amplified Ale Works will be kicking off San Diego Beer Week on November 1 celebrating their one-year anniversary. Since their opening last November inside California Kebab & Beer Garden in Pacific Beach, brew masters JC Hill and Cy Henley have brewed more than 15 different beers and the microbrewery has gained a solid fan base.

“I love trying each new beer they come out with,” said local San Diegan Ernie Velas.

For the one-year anniversary celebration attendees can expect ten different Amplified house brews on tap including Electrocution IPA, 1 Year Anniversary Imperial IPA and the brewery’s first-brewed, yet unreleased beer, Loose Booty Brown Ale.

JC and Cy getting it done!
“Loose Booty has been aging in a cabernet wine barrel with cherries, peaches, apricots, and has been soured with brettanomyces and lactobacillus,” said Hill. “We’ll be releasing this for the event on draft and bottling the rest.”

Other featured Amplified beers include Symphonic Track 1 IPA, Butternut Squash Brown Ale, Smokin’ Kiwi IPA, Belgo-Electro, Soulless Ginger Wheat, Treble Tripel, a cask of Symphonic and bottled 2012 Bourbon Barrel Aged Rare Form.

Amplified Ale Works will be screen-printing a specialty 1 year anniversary T-shirt on-site for attendees. New T shirts and hoodies will also be released at the party and they will be celebrating Halloween with a rock 'n roll photo booth to document the fun.
