Celebrate San Diego's famous beach culture and all the oceanside goodness it has to offer at the 4th annual Bikes, Boards and Brews event, taking place on December 14, bayside at the beautiful Catamaran Resort and Spa. Just as the autumn chill creeps in, this event will bring you back to the endless summer days with surf boards, beach cruisers, beach inspired art, craft beer samples and tasty offerings from some of the area's best bars and eateries.
We attended last year's Bikes, Boards & Brews and it was one of our favorite beer events of 2012. The outdoor location on Mission Bay at the Catamaran Resort & Spa is intimate and beautiful, music was invigorating, food was delicious and beer was plentiful. This year is certain to be another fun-filled experience.
This event is presented by Discover PB and San Diego CityBeat. Participating local restaurants currently on board include Woodstock's Pizza, Sandbar Sports Grill, Duck Dive, The PB Fish Shop, Pacific Beach Ale House, Bare Back Grill, Tavern, Tap Room, Typhoon Saloon and Bar West. Brewery participants include Helms Brewing Company, Pacific Beach Ale House, Amplified Ale, Karl Strauss, Ballast Point, Left Coast, Lost Abbey, Manzanita, Green Flash and more.
Before the event, there will also be a free community bike ride led by the San Diego Bicycle Coalition, which will meet on bayside Catamaran at 11am!

We deem this one of the best damn beer fests America's Finest City has to offer, especially in consideration of the ticket prices! Tickets for Bike, Boards & Brews are $25 in advance ($30 at the door) and include 10 beer tasters and all food pairings.
