Wildcoast is hosting an evening of celebration of the shared coastal conservation successes of Southern California and Baja at the 3rd Annual Baja Bash, and marking the occasion with the best chefs, beer, and wine from both sides of our border, San Diego and Baja California.  On Saturday, June 28 at the lavish Coronado Cays Yacht Club, starting at 5:30pm, enjoy a Baja-inspired tasting menu designed by world renowned Baja California and San Diego chefs, including regional wines, beer and tequila, and live music from Los Hollywood.
The Baja Bash will bring together the best flavors of the region with chefs from both sides of the border, including Javier Plascencia of Romesco's Mexiterranean, Mision 19 of Tijuana and many other restaurants, Flor Franco of Indulge Catering and Encuentro Guadalupe, Drew Deckman of Deckman's en Mogur and Deckman's Los Cabos and Bianca Castro Cerio - Executive Producer and traveling host of 16 MANGIarte episodes and host of weekly morning TV cooking show for Televisa Mexicali. There will also be beer courtesy of Stone Brewing Company, an assortment of wines from Valle de Guadalupe and tequila by Nobleza Tequila.

This year, the Baja Bash will be honoring the late Don Pachico, known as the "grandfather of the whales" in Laguna San Ignacio, who past away in 2013. For his inspiring relationship with gray whales and his belief in the ability of wildlife and wild places to transform our lives and make the world a better place, Pachico will be remembered and his son will be in attendance to accept this honor. Award winning Hollywood writer/performer/director and author, Rick Najera will be the master of ceremonies for the evening.

Tickets are $100 per person, including food, drinks, and entertainment, and are available at wildcoast.net or by calling (619) 423-8665 x200. Reserved tables are also available for groups of 8. Proceeds from the event will benefit WiLDCOAST’s continued efforts to conserve the most threatened coastal habitats and wildlife in the Californias and southern Mexico.
