Sunday Fundays at Turquoise Cellars Bring Together Local Craft Breweries and Food Trucks | Monthly Event Kicks Off on May 18

On Sunday, May 18 from 5-9pm, Turquoise Cellars will host Acoustic Ales Brewing Experiment and Mastiff Sausage Company food truck for a speciality Sausage + Beer themed Sunday Funday event in honor of National Craft Beer Week. These ongoing Sunday Funday pairing events will occur once a month throughout the Summer, pairing a local craft brewery with a food truck.

Turquoise Cellars, while usually closed on Sundays, will open its doors once a month to host these craft beer and foodie events. Owner Eddie Okino says, “It’s a great way to say in tune with the community and reach out to other like-minded businesses who have a passion for artisan food and beer.” Past events have included Hess and Belching Beaver breweries as well as Devilicious Food Truck.

Turquoise Cellars is a wine, craft beer and small plates bar in North Pacific Beach that doubles as a retail wine and craft beer bottle shop. “While we’re also huge advocates of wine, we really want to support the local craft brewing and food truck culture that has become such a big part of San Diego” says Turquoise Cellars Beverage Director Rafael Peterson.

Upcoming dates for the Sunday Funday events will be June 22 with Super Q Food Truck and Lagunitas Brewing and July 20 with San Diego Pizza Company, brewery to be announced.
