Cafe Cantata, the newest restaurant concept from Johan Engman, founder and owner behind the popular Fig Tree Cafe in Pacific Beach, Liberty Station and Hillcrest, will be open on the second level of Flower Hill Promenade today. Continuing to nurture his desire to offer a home-style, friendly option for local diners and the community, Cafe Cantata will serve a variety of breakfast dishes, sandwiches, salads and an array of beverages including coffee and fresh juices.
