Upcoming Cooking Classes from BiCE San Diego | June 28 & 29

BiCE San Diego will once again host interactive cooking classes, taking place Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29. The focus on this month’s classes will be unusual Italian menu items (June 28) and authentic Italian preparations of meat (June 29).  As part of the ongoing “Son of a BiCE” cooking class series, Executive Chef Mario Cassineri of BiCE San Diego offer cooking classes on select Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer, each cooking class will feature a distinct menu of traditional Italian dishes prepared with Chef Mario’s innovative approach. 

During this three-hour long experience, students will benefit from hands-on training directly from Executive Chef Mario Cassineri and Chef de Cuisine Francesca Penoncelli. All classes will also feature a gourmet Italian cheese-pairing demonstration with Chef Francesca.

Unusual Italian Menu- Saturday, June 28; Guests will get the chance to create some of BiCE’s most unique menu items, including:
· Shaved green salad using the freshest farmer’s market vegetables
· Gluten-Free Ricotta Gnocchi with shrimp, baby spinach, bottarga and burrata foam and a delicate lobster bisque
· Naturally flavored fresh Mint Pappardelle with lamb sauce
· Torta Pasqualina- a savory, traditional pie from Liguria

Modern Italian Meat Recipes- Sunday, June 29; Guests will master Italian meat preparation like the pros, including the following recipes:

· Beef Carpaccio
· Ossobuco Milanese
· Chicken Roulade stuffed with truffle cheese
· Venison Chop
· BiCE’s Signature Marinade
· Strawberry Tiramisu (Chef Francesca’s Signature)
