July 6, 2014

San Diego’s Marriott Gaslamp Quarter has just introduced two new summer menus. Executive Chef Edward Fincher has designed a new summer dinner menu for the hotel’s restaurant, Soleil @k, and a new cocktail menu for ALTITUDE Sky Lounge, the highest rooftop lounge on the West Coast, both complementing the season’s freshest fare. Soleil @k’s new dinner menu emphasizes modern California cuisine and is designed to bring people together through community sharing. The array of new items feature enticing appetizers and starters like Braised Pork Cheeks with potato hash and braising jus as well as an assortment of entrées, such as theFurikake Crusted Ahi served with wasabi mashed potatoes, tempura long beans and soy beurre blanc.

The latest cocktail menu for ALTITUDE Sky Lounge and City Sights, the newest indoor addition to the venue, puts a fresh twist on classic cocktails by highlighting summer’s freshest fruits like pineapple, mango, peach and raspberry, which can be sipped in drinks like the Raspberry Ice with Skyy raspberry vodka, lemonade, fresh raspberries and lemon or the Kentucky Buck with Bulleit Bourbon, fresh lime juice, ginger beer and fresh strawberries. The menu also offers a variety of cigars and a happy hour special offered Monday through Friday from 5 to 7pm and all day Sunday.
