The Baja Best Fest to Showcase Best of Mexican Peninsula on Saturday, August 2 in Rosarito

This Saturday, August 2, from noon-12am, don't miss the best of Baja California, Mexico, at the Baja Best Fest, a festival celebrating art, wine and food, featuring some of the region's most acclaimed wineries, restaurants, chefs and breweries. Held at the new Baja California Center just north of Rosarito, the festival will fulfill your 5 senses and feature wine, craft beer, gourmet coffee, regional food, live music, fine arts, film and dance. The Baja Best Fest has an incredible lineup of vendors planned for the occasion. Chefs and restaurants offering tastes of the best food the state of Baja has to offer include Baja-Med originators - Chef Miguel Angel Guerrero of La Querencia and Chef Javier Plascencia of Mision 19, as well as Chef Drew Deckman from Deckman's El Mogor, Chef Ryan Steyn formerly of Latitud 32, Chef Humberto Avilez, and restaurants Kokopelli, La Caza Club, The Lunch Box, Caesar's, Villa Saverios, La Diferencia, Susanna's, Puerto Nuevo Number 1, Tapanco, El Nido, El Lugar De Nos, Azao and many more. There will be a large selection Valle de Guadalupe and Baja wines being offered as well as 15 craft beer stands, gourmet coffee, and a wide range of artisan products and vendors.

In addition to live musical acts throughout the festival and an art expo, there will also be a short-film festival that will showcase Baja directors and film makers and multiple conferences and speakers. There will also be a cigar lounge, WiFi lounge and plenty of dancing.

Tickets to the Baja Best Fest are 500 pesos (or $40.00) and can be purchased online, at the door and at a variety of locations. Cost of entry includes 5 wine tasting, 5 beer tasting, 5 food tastings, 3 gourmet coffee tastings and live entertainment. Additional tastings can be purchased at the event. The Baja Best Fest is also working alongside the best hotels in the region to offer guests discounts and packaged tours which include transportation in either a van or 5-star bus to and from your hotel to the event.
