Polite Provisions to Offer Agave & Mezcal Cocktail Class on August 11

August 7, 2014

In the latest installment of Polite Provisions' Spirit Society - a series of interactive and educational cocktail classes taught by guest bartenders gathered from the country's top cocktail establishments - San Francisco's Agave and Mezcal master, Ryan Fitzgerald takes the stage to teach cocktail enthusiasts how to mix up drinks like the pros with this two hour, hands-on introduction to agave basics.

One of the country's leading authorities on agave-based spirits, Fitzgerald is a Southern California native who has made a huge name for himself in the national cocktail arena. With experience crafting world-class drinks at San Francisco hotspots such as Beretta, Bourbon & Branch, and now his own bar, ABV, Ryan will treat enthusiasts to an inside look into the production, culture and history of these unique spirits. Each attendee will have the opportunity to make and enjoy three agave based cocktails, while learning about the world of tequila and Mezcal at individual workstations fully-stocked with all the necessary jiggers, strainers, glasses and ingredients.

The Adventures in Agave class with Ryan Fitzgerald costs $70 per person and takes place Monday, August 11 from 6-8pm. Seating is limited to 14 attendees per class in order for Ryan Fitzgerald to provide one-on-one attention to each individual. For tickets to the August 11 event, visit politeagave.bpt.me. Early RSVPs are highly suggested, as the class will sell out quickly!
