The 2nd Annual Hormel Black Label San Diego Bacon Fest returns to America's Finest City the week of August 24-30, this year offering a whole week's worth of porky pleasures, including a bacon beer release party, a special multi-course bacon-inspired feast, and even a bacon film fest on the deck of the historic USS Midway. We have the initial schedule of events so that all the bacon aficionados can ready themselves for a most blissful week of absolute awesomeness. Be prepared for bacon overload! San Diego Bacon Week kicks off with Bacon Jam on Sunday, August 24 and continues throughout the entire week with special events until one of the best days ever is upon us, International Bacon Day and The Hormel Black Label San Diego Bacon Fest on Saturday, August 30. Go whole hog at The 2nd Annual International Bacon Film Festival. This love-fest of all thinks pork is presented by Hormel Black Label Bacon as part of the San Diego Bacon Week and sets up shop on the flight deck of the historical USS Midway aircraft carrier. While you check out bacon-inspired short films, enjoy a premium open bar, a live performance by The Routine and sample bacon-themed appetizers.
