Enjoy a delicious afternoon of cheesy indulgence in Escondido at The Wedge 2014, taking place on Saturday, October 25, from 1-5pm. Presented by the Escondido Downtown Business Association, this self guided tasting tour unites local food purveyors, brewers and wineries for a taste of Grand Avenue where participants can enjoy cheese inspired samples from 30+ tasting stops, which will include local restaurants, bars and wineries. Tickets are $35 for a Wedge Tasting Passport which provides access to over thirty cheese, wine, beer and restaurant tasting stops. The price will increase to $45 after October 18. The tasting stops will consist of Escondido businesses hosting fine cheeses and a diverse selection of craft beers and boutique wines as well as local restaurants that will be offering samples of their best known cheesy creations. The passport includes tastings plus choice of ten beer and/or wine pairings. A Designated Driver ticket is also available for $25 for those who do not wish to participate in the beer or wine tasting.

In between tastings, the public can enjoy live music from award winning band, Santana Brothers, and stroll through the artisan vendors in Heritage Park during the free street festival portion of the event.
