After only a little more than a year in business, the Pacific Beach outpost of the popular SDSU college area Buddies Burgers has shuttered. The space will soon be taken over by an installment of the Del Mar-based Board & Brew sandwich and craft beer chain. The first Board & Brew was started in 1979, and the company currently has 6 locations in Southern California, with a total of 9 expected by year's end.
