San Diego Coastkeeper is ready to rock in the name of clean oceans at its 4th annual Ocean Commotion Concert on Saturday, April 18, from 11am - 10pm. This year plans to be bigger, better and more fun at Campland on the Bay to raise money and celebrate San Diego Coastkeeper’s 20th year protecting and restoring fishable, swimmable, drinkable waters.
We're in California's worst drought on record. Inland water quality scores average marginal to fair across the county. Science education for our children is limited. Urban runoff pollution is our county's number one water pollution problem. But for one day, this Saturday, April 18, San Diegans can put their concerns aside and party for a cause to raise crucial money to fund another 20 years of Coastkeeper's work to restore water quality in San Diego. 100% of the ticket price, the parking ticket, the beer garden sales and the opportunity drawing all go to San Diego Coastkeeper.
Enjoy sets from The Barnwell Shift, Lee Koch, Jah-N-1 Roots, Mono Verde, Wag Halen and Ocelot. The event also features a brew and donuts cleanup at 9am on Sunday, April 19. There is camping offered so that attendees can enjoy the entire weekend. Tickets to this April 18 event are $12 in advance and $15 day of the show and are available online at sdcoastkeeper.org/act/fix/attend-an-event/ocean-commotion.html
