The superhero-themed Heroes Brew Craft Beer Festival returns for its third year during Comic-Con weekend on Saturday, July 11, from 3-6pm, featuring crowds dressed to the nines in their favorite costumes while enjoying local craft beer at the event's new venue - The Loma Club in Point Loma. The beer festival features more than 40 craft breweries, along with food trucks, a costume contest, raffle and even a live performance by DJ G-Roy. Heroes Brew Fest is the superhero PoW! craft beer BAnG! combo fans of San Diego have been waiting for. San Diego celebrates the best craft beer in the industry with over 70 craft breweries calling SD home. San Diego has also been home to Comic-Con - the country’s longest continuously run comics and popular art convention, taking place for over 40 years. In addition to comics and craft beer, San Diego is also known as having a huge military population, which is why the Warrior Foundation is the non-profit beneficiary for Hero's Brew.
Tickets to the Heroes Brew Fest are currently $49 for general admission, $64 for VIP and $20 for designated drivers. VIP tickets include an extra hour of indulgence (starting at 2pm rather than 3pm), and will offer specialty brews not available during regular admission.
