Celebrate 5 years of delicious craft beer at Mike Hess Brewing's 5 year anniversary party, taking over Grim Avenue in North Park on Saturday, July 25! Mike Hess Brewing is pulling out all the stops to celebrate a half decade of craft beer brewing in San Diego. The event will include at least 19 guest breweries pouring 38 different beers, two live bands (The Routine & The Fab Lushes) and great local food from Carnitas' Snack Shack, Ciro's Pizza, City Tacos, Coin-Op Game Room, Common Theory, Eclipse Chocolate, Lucha Libre, Promiscuous Fork, Slater's 50/50 and Waypoint Public, all taking place on Grim Avenue between University and North Park Way.
General Session tickets (12:30-5pm) are $45 and include unlimited samples of craft beers, a commemorative 5th Anniversary taster glass (refillable during the rest of 2015, Monday through Friday, for just $4 on any beer normally served by the pint) and food tasters (4 total) from any of the participating eateries. Full size portions of food will be available for purchase. VIP Session tickets (12-1:30 VIP area) are $60 and grant you all of the above but also includes access to a private Collaboration Cask Session. Additionally, VIP ticket holders get an extra special treat - not just early entrance, but an exclusive, private party in the Hess Brewing tasting room where they will be treated to tastings of Mike Hess Brewing’s Grazias Vienna Cream Ale revamped at least 13 different ways by the collaborative efforts of guest breweries - Alesmith, Arizona Wilderness, Ballast Point, Council Brewing, Fall Brewing, Intergalactic Brewing, Mission Brewery, Moneky Paw and more.
