August 28, 2015

The most delicious week of the year returns to America's Finest City this September! For one week only, from September 20-27, San Diego Restaurant Week will celebrate local dining by partnering with over 180 participating restaurants who will showcase their top dishes on lunch and dinner multi-course, prix-fixe menus. New this year, as a special preview of SDRW, on Saturday, September 12, from 12pm to 3pm, the San Diego Restaurant Week Launch Party will gather a selection of participating restaurants at Go Green Agriculture in Encinitas and welcome a very limited number of guests and media to sample locally inspired offerings.

During San Diego Restaurant Week, dinner will be served as a three-course, prix-fixe menu for just $20, $30, $40 or $50 per person and lunch will be served as a two-course prix-fixe menu for only $10, $15 or $20 per person at participating locations. Both a Saturday and Sunday will be included once again this year, giving you that extra chance to indulge.

Participating restaurants for SDRW 2015 include such SanDiegoVille favorites as Bali Hai Restaurant, Bankers Hill Bar + Grill, Barrio Star, Bertrand at Mister A's, Bleu Boheme, The Blind Burro, Comun Kitchen and Tavern, Cowboy Star, Croce's Park West, Cucina Urbana, Double Standard, Jake's Del Mar, Marine Room, Monello and so many more.

SDRW & Sysco have joined forces with San Diego Food Bank’s “Food For Kids Campaign” to help provide weekend food packages to chronically hungry elementary school students from low-income households. For every photo post of the San Diego Restaurant Week experience on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the restaurant tagged and hashtag #Food4Kids, Sysco will donate $1.

In addition to featured SDRW participating eateries, the San Diego Restaurant Week Launch Party on September 12 will include local wineries, breweries & spirit purveyors who will offer a multitude of sips and nibbles. While the majority of this event is invite only, a limited 100 tickets will be available for purchase through the SDRW website.

To make San Diego dining easier all year around, San Diego Restaurant Week has also launched a new website, which has added more extensive search features, a recipes section with local restaurant contributors, a special offers area and even a place where diners can log their favorites to assist in tracking through the variety of options available.

Ditch the dirty dishes and join over 150,000 fellow diners to celebrate San Diego’s thriving culinary scene and the homegrown, local businesses that provide us with the produce and products we love. Tickets are not necessary for this delectable week of discounted dining, but reservations are definitely recommended. Download the SDRW app or visit SanDiegoRestaurantWeek.com for more information, including a list of participating restaurants, or to make your reservations in advance.
