A New Bird Just Landed In San Diego's Gaslamp | Welcome Crazy Goose Bar & Lounge

September 11, 2015

A “down” home, American Comfort food destination has migrated to San Diego. Having opened just last night, Crazy Goose Bar & Lounge is offering a sneak peek of what’s in store for its future in the heart of the Gaslamp. Spins on traditional favorites like Dirty South Catfish Po’Boy and Maple Truffle Lamb Chops will whet the appetites of locals and the thousands of visitors who flock into town on a daily basis.

Head Chef Jacob Greene created the menu, inspired by his Midwest background and years of extensive traveling. Guests will enjoy his innovative take on burgers, entrees and salads, all made from scratch daily with the finest ingredients available. They’ll also offer brunch on weekends with creative offerings such as Short Rib Hash and Captain Crunch French Toast. And true to its name, Crazy Goose has a wild side and will offer fresh elk, bison and venison in several of their recipes.

Over 32 rotating tap beers will flow, and their extensive onsite cellar is stocked with a wide selection of wine and spirits. Craft cocktails such as their Tennessee Tornado will be served, featuring Jack Daniels, Giffard Banane du Brẻsil liqueur, cinnamon-agave, fresh lemon and mint. Thirty flat screens line the walls for folks to gander at their favorite sporting event, UFC fight or boxing match. Live entertainment and DJ’s will rotate weekly, hosting hometown hits and accepting requests.

Their newly renovated VIP lounge will offer a private conference room and meeting space, including a personal server and bird’s-eye view into the kitchen where Chef Jacob is leading the charge.

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Crazy Goose will be open Monday through Thursday from 11am to 2am, and Friday through Sunday from 10am to 2am. For more information, visit crazygoosebar.com
