An American Tradition Returns To San Diego | Brian's 24 Introduces Weekly Blue Plate Specials

September 13, 2015

A beloved American-diner tradition is making a comeback in a major way! Having started in diners across America in the 1920s, the “Blue Plate Special” became a treasured, hearty menu staple, rooted in tradition. Now local, 24-hour eatery, Brian’s 24, is bringing back the time-honored menu with their own “Blue Plate Specials” starting this coming week!

Starting this Monday, from 4-8pm, Brian’s 24 is featuring different tried-and-true soul food items to satisfy any hungry appetite. Start your Monday at Brian’s with their tender Beef Tip Blue Plate Special served on top of a heaping platter of warm noodles. Head back to Brian’s 24 on Tuesday for a home-made, juicy Pork Loins Blue Plate with a large serving of veggies and mashed potatoes. Nothing screams “mama’s kitchen” like a comforting bite of a flaky, Chicken Pot Pie paired with buttermilk biscuits, and Brian’s serves this on Wednesday to make you feel right at home.

Hurry up and grab these home-cooked classics while they last because when they run out, they’re out! Brian's 24 is located at 828 6th Avenue in downtown San Diego. For more information, visit brians24.com.
