Executive Chef Martin Gonzalez announced he has closed the popular East Village Italian restaurant, Toast Enoteca & Cucina, formerly located for five years at 927 J street, in San Diego.
“The growth of the company is moving in a new and exciting direction,” said Gonzalez. “Although it was a difficult decision, we shall remain dedicated to our loyal patrons.”
Gonzalez owns the popular Tuscan cuisine restaurant, Acqua Al 2 in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, where guests will continue to enjoy his homemade culinary creations.
