This fall marks the second annual Bing Crosby Season at Del Mar where the “Sport of Kings” gets a glamorous, old Hollywood twist. The 20-day session will bring world-class racing the seaside track is historically known for, along with a sprinkling of fresh seasonal events including festivals, free concerts, giveaways and eclectic outdoor dining options.
On Thursday, October 29, Del Mar is bringing back old-school style with the Hollywood Fashion Contest for opening day of the Bing Crosby Season, where everyone is invited to dress up in their most fashionable attire. Dress up categories include Most Glamorous, Best Dressed Couple, Best Celebrity Look-Alike or Famous Character. Participants entering will have a chance to compete for more than $3,000 in prizes. The Grand Prize winner will snag a two-night stay at L'Auberge Del Mar, plus dinner in Kitchen 1540 for two and breakfast at Coastline. Sign ups will be held in Plaza de Mexico located inside the Stretch Run gates from 11am to 1:30pm.

On Sunday, November 1, one of San Diego's most celebrated chefs, Brian Malarkey, will bring his talents trackside every Sunday for Bing+Bubbles+Brunch which includes a rotating three-course menu, Turf Club table and bottomless mimosa’s or Chandon. Although reservations are required for Malarkey's brunch, every Sunday at Del Mar is Free and Easy, where attendees will receive free Stretch Run admission, a free program and free seat along with half price domestic draft beer, as well as regular soda and regular hot dog at Stretch Run concession stands. There will also be NFL playing in the 17 Hands Pub, Paddock Tavern or Ballast Point Jockey Box.
