First Annual PB Fall Harvest Brings A Unique Dining Experience To Pacific Beach While Raising Funds For An Important Local Non-Profit | Five-Course Dinner To Feature Locally Sourced Food, Craft Beer & Wine To Raise Funds For BeautifulPB

October 3, 2015

On Sunday, October 11, Turquoise Cellars will be hosting the inaugural PB Fall Harvest, a benefit dinner to help raise funds for the non-profit beautifulPB’s mission to create a more vibrant, safe and sustainable community in Pacific Beach. The PB Fall Harvest will include a five-course family-style meal consisting of locally grown food, a hosted bar and pork from a heritage pig donated by The Heart & Trotter, Southern California’s only whole animal butchery. Craft beer aficionados will have the rare opportunity to sample Pathway Wit, a limited release beer crafted through a collaboration between Pacific Beach’s Amplified Ale Works and Karl Strauss Brewing Company. In addition to raising funds for beautifulPB, the event will highlight local businesses while also connecting likeminded neighbors who are looking to support all of the amazing things Pacific Beach has to offer.

Turquoise Cellar’s Chef Taylor Martin-Funk will craft the menu for the PB Fall Harvest using fruit, vegetables and herbs grown locally in the Pacific Beach community. With 100 percent of the net proceeds going to benefit beautifulPB, attendees can rest assured that in addition to sampling some exceptional fare, they will also be supporting the positive development of one of San Diego’s most vibrant beach communities. While the event is open to the public, seating is limited to just 75 tickets, which can be purchased online for $95.

“The PB Fall Harvest is a very unique and progressive event not just for Pacific Beach, but for San Diego in general. PB has so much to offer residents and visitors alike, and this event will not only help connect neighbors, it will serve as a spring board to inspire our community as to what’s possible when we collectively work together in a positive way,” commented Kristen Victor, President of beautifulPB.

Turquoise Cellars is located at 5026 Cass Street in Pacific Beach, between Opal Street and Loring Street. The event will begin at 6 pm with food being served at approximately 7pm.
