On the most recent addition of Happy Hour Bee, Bianca Jaime visits NINE-TEN Restaurant & Bar in La Jolla where she enjoys California modern dishes like Harissa grilled shrimp toast, lamb meatballs, hamachi sashimi and the tantalizing Nine-Ten burger.
Nine-Ten is an intimate restaurant within La Jolla's Grande Colonial Hotel led by award-winning Chef Jason Knibb and Pastry Chef Rachel King. During Happy Hour, weekdays from 3:30-6:30pm, the Nine-Ten bar becomes the local neighborhood haunt for area residents, after-work professionals and visitors alike. Specials include a lengthy half priced bar food menu, $5 select glasses of red and white wine, $2 off all beers and an $8 bartender's whim cocktail.
