October 3, 2016

Known for its Japanese Cuisine and endless selection of craft beer, the Safehouse Restaurant celebrates its one-year anniversary on Saturday October 10. Located in the heart of North Park just steps away from 30th Street and University Avenue, The Safehouse continues to offer some of the most delicious ramen and steam buns in town, but the celebration of one year in business will center around a whole hog dinner.

The anniversary party kicks off when the doors open at 4:30pm and lasts all evening. The Safehouse will offer a “Pint and Plate” special, featuring a whole pig roast, two sides and your choice of any draft beer for just $12. In addition to food specials, there will be multiple Nintendo video game challenges throughout the night for guests to participate in.

“We are excited to celebrate this one year milestone with our customers” says The Safehouse owner, Nick Thanasith. “We have some pretty exciting events planned for year two, showcasing our love for San Diego craft beer through Japanese inspired pairing dinners.”

The Safehouse is located at 2930 University Avenue and offers a rich menu that features a mixture of traditional Japanese cuisine and Japanese-inspired items with a modern twist, complemented by ample craft beer and sake offerings. For more information, visit thesafehousenp.com.
