Museum Of Contemporary Art San Diego To Host The Spring Thing: Modern Mutiny On Friday, March 4

February 20, 2016

Ever had dinner and drinks in a Museum? On Friday, March 4, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego will host The Spring Thing: Modern Mutiny. The voyage begins with a specially curated craft cocktail reception, followed by a family-style dinner masterminded by San Diego's Kettner Exchange. After dinner, guests will get a chance to explore the museum and enjoy hosted drinks and live music at The Late Night Party.

Kettner Exchage Executive Chef Brian Redzikowski and Beverage Director Steven Tuttle are teaming up with the folks at Malahat Spirits Co. to create a stellar menu that pairs Kettner Exchange's unique cuisine with specially crafted rum cocktails. Following dinner, guests will cruise into the Late Night Party where there will be three live music acts - Jeffrey Paradise (Poolside), followed by Wild Wild Wets and DJ Vaughn Avakian - as well as hosted cocktails all night long, bites from Nomad Donuts and Starlite, aerial yoga performances by Elka Yoga and so much more.

Dinner will be preceded by a craft cocktail hour, featuring Tito's Handmade Vodka. Guests will dine in the galleries, enjoying a family-style feast on the same hallowed grounds graced by some of this century's best artworks. As if that wasn't enough - you'll also dine alongside the Modern Mutiny muse herself, artist Marnie Weber.

Tickets The Spring Thing Dinner, which includes access to the Late Night Party, are $175 per person. Access to just The Late Night Party is $50 and includes hosted drinks all night, three live musical performances, and more.
