The race for rum is coming to San Diego! On Sunday, April 10, the 2nd annual San Diego Rum Run returns to Paradise Point Resort for an energetic and tropical-inspired event. Presented by Energy Events, Paradise Point Resort & Road Runner, this 10k race (with a 1k for the kiddos) will transport participants to the Caribbean with a tiki-torch-lined finish featuring leis, festive decorations, the music of the islands and more! We are raffling off adult registrations for 2 for the race, so read on and be sure to enter.
Once you conquer the scenic Rum Run race, indulge in the after party with a refreshing Kraken Rum Mojito or Mai Tai, as well as an ice cold Kona Brew. Young athletes will also have the chance to race their way through the Kids Tiki 1k Run with snacks and beverages available for everyone at the finish. The whole family is welcomed to enjoy this exciting race in a beautiful location!
Online registration for the Rum Run 10k is $45 for adults and $18 for those under 18. The Kids Tiki Run is $15. Prices increase on the day of the event. Adult registration includes access to the chip-timed race, a cool t-shirt, 2 drinks, snacks, and access to the after party with live music. The event begins and ends at Paradise Point Resort, located at 1404 Vacation Road.
