Pizzeria Luigi is bringing its famous NYC-style pizza to South San Diego County. Italian-born Luigi Agostini will debut the third outpost of his popular pizza lounge at 717 Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach as early as this June.
First opened in 2004, Pizzeria Luigi has come to be known as one of the top pizza parlors in San Diego. It's locations in North Park & Golden Hill have gained a loyal following, even appearing on installments of Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives on the Food Network.
The Imperial Beach location will be situation inside the former IB Yoga studio, which is currently receiving a complete overhaul. Expect Pizzeria Luigi favorites like the Crime Scene with ricotta, meatball and marinara dots and the Leonardo with mozzarella, parmesan and pesto.
Pizzeria Luigi recently finished a remodel of its North Park location, including the addition of new seating area, a game room will pool table, more beers on tap, and additional menu items to be added in the near future, including items made with Gustaf Rooth's iQ Barrel Smoker.
