Moniker General is a new retail concept and community space introducing lifestyle and home goods, custom furniture, and craft coffee and beer all in one unified store. This unique establishment recently opened in a 4,200 square foot space within the north end of Liberty Station, adjacent to Fireside By The Patio and across from Stone Brewing and Liberty Public Market.
"We believe people and products matter," explained Ryan Sisson, CEO of Moniker Group. "We are driven to promote the best goods in a distinguished environment that support a lifestyle of quality and intentionality. With community at our core, we desire a space for conversations to happen and stories to be told."
Moniker General includes a coffee bar featuring beens from Copa Vida of Pasadena. In addition to a wide range of coffee concoctions, Moniker Coffee also offers pastries from Foodie Folk in North County and Wow Wow Waffles in North Park. A beer bar offers 8 taps of San Diego craft beer from Miramar-based brewery 32 North. In the retail space, Moniker General carries everything from clothing to bikes to surf boards and furniture from local brands such as Bradley Mountain, Boutonne, Affinita Surf, Norden Goods, Hold CA, and Moniker Made, as well as a few other brands such as Nudie Jeans, Richer Poorer, and Linus Bikes. The space also offers an outdoor patio in addition to eclectic seating options inside.
