The Hunt Is On! Pokemon Go Bar Crawl Hits The Streets Of San Diego's Gaslamp On July 30

July 17, 2016

Unless you've been hiding under a geodude, you've heard that Pokémon Go is the biggest smart phone app of 2016, and on Saturday, July 30, get ready to break out the Poké Balls and take to the streets of San Diego's Gaslamp for a riveting Poké Hunt bar crawl. We are raffling off a bunch of tickets to this exciting event, so read on and be sure to enter.

The Pokemon Go Bar Crawl on July 30th in Downtown San Diego will invite ticket holders to walk around downtown with friends playing Pokémon Go and taking advantage of exclusive bar specials at participating locations dotted around the Gaslamp. Early-Pokemon tickets are currently only $5, which get holders exclusive drink specials and a chance to win tickets to the San Diego Bacon Fest.

Pokémon Go is a free-to-play, location-based mobile phone game that has been taking the country by storm since it was launched earlier this month. The game allows players to capture, battle, and train virtual creatures, called Pokémon, who appear on their smartphone screens as though in the real world. It makes use of GPS and the camera of compatible devices.

The Deck at Moonshine Flats is the host bar where guests will register for the event and receive their credentials, with other participating locations including The Blind Burro, Bub's at the Ballpark, Taste & Thirst, Bootlegger, Mission Brewery, and more.

The Pokemon Go Bar Crawl is a 21 and over event. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit flavorus.com/event/Pokemon-Go-Bar-Crawl/330817
