Jerry Greenfield, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s, will be visiting the Ben & Jerry’s location at San Diego's Seaport Village on Tuesday, September 13, from 7-8pm for a special meet and greet and sampling opportunity.
With Election Day approaching, Ben & Jerry’s will also be encouraging San Diegans to vote (regardless of party preference) on November 8, with free 2 oz. samples of their election-themed flavor, “Empower Mint” from 6-8pm that evening. While on-site, visitors can also fill out themed post cards that will be sent as a reminder to vote closer to November.
In addition to co-founding the successful ice cream company, Jerry Greenfield is an active philanthropist involved in foundations that further social justice, protecting the environment and supporting sustainable food systems.
