We've received word that the owners of Mission Hill's casual neighborhood eatery, Brooklyn Girl, which first opened in 2011, have secured a commercial broker to assist in the sale of the restaurant.
Brooklyn Girl owners Michael and Victoria McGeath got into the restaurant game by opening Fio's Cucina Italiana on Fifth Avenue in 1989, one of the first upscale dining spots in the Gaslamp. In 1994 they opened Trattoria Acqua in La Jolla. After 17 years in La Jolla, the husband and wife duo took their passion for culinary revival to Mission Hills where they felt they could create a unique neighborhood inspired restaurant that would feature the best of what San Diego County has to offer in food, wine, beer and spirits.
