Taste The 17th San Diego Asian Film Festival At Chew The Scene Featuring Food Paired With Film Trailers

September 30, 2016

The Pacific Arts Movement will present its 17th annual this November 3-12, and to launch the event, they will host Chew The Scene, the official kickoff festival featuring film trailers and food from area eateries on Tuesday, October 11 at Brick Liberty Station.

Pacific Arts Movement has made San Diego the home to the largest showcase of Asian cinema on the West Coast and that’s something to celebrate as the upcoming festival approaches this November. Chew the Scene gives attendees a chance to whet their appetite for this year’s SDAFF with an exclusive look at the film festival lineup and programs while indulging in endless Asian-inspired food and drink samplings from more than a dozen local vendors. There will also be a silent auction, opportunity drawings and door prizes at the event. Attendees must be 21 or over.

Restaurants and vendors participating in this year's Chew The Scene include Common Theory Public House, Cali Baguette, Crab Hut, The Cork & Craft, Nomad Donuts, Avian’s House, Kuracali Sake, Sushi On A Roll and more.

Tickets to Chew The Scene are $35 and include unlimited samples. For more information and to get your passes, visit pacarts.org/chewthescene.
