San Diego's Sweet Petite Confections Celebrates The Holidays With Santa’s Workshop, Cider Pairings & Gift Ideas This December

San Diego's favorite artisan chocolate shop, Sweet Petite Confections, will celebrate the holiday season with a trio of in-store events and new gift-worthy chocolate collections available throughout December. From holiday chocolates, to candy making classes, Sweet Petite is ready to sweeten up your holiday season this year.

Sweet Petite Confections is shop specializing in gourmet chocolate products including bonbons, meltaways, barks, salted caramels, custom chocolate business cards and more. Its location between San Diego’s Bay Park and Clairemont includes a retail store with playful creations, an open kitchen where monthly classes and tastings take place, and custom chocolate services for wholesale and other clientele.

Sweet Petites is bringing out holiday treats and festive flavors this year, including maple pecan bark and cranberry crumble bark, as well as the silvery blue Winter Wonderland bonbon collection in 5-piece and 16-piece sets. On December 9, Sweet Petite Confections will also release its glitzy gold and red Sparkle N Shine bonbon collection in 5-piece and 16-piece sets. Chocolates are available to purchase at the shop and online.

On Saturday, December 3, starting at 12:30pm, Sweet Petite Confections will host a hands-on Santa's Workshop at which all ages can create their choice flavor of bark and chocolate-dipped goodies using strawberries, pretzels, organic dried orange slices and more - then gift wrap treats with colorful holiday bags and ribbons provided by the shop. The event is $40 per adult or parent-child team.

As part of its series of monthly classes, Sweet Petite Confections will also host a wintry chocolate class on Saturday, December 10 at 3:30pm to celebrate the season. At $35 per adult or parent-child team, participants will make molded chocolates and bark using holiday flavors like cranberry caramel, eggnog ganache, candied ginger and crushed peppermints.

Finally, adults can visit Sweet Petite Confections on Friday, December 16 at 6:30pm for a tasting event featuring locally crafted hard ciders from Julian Ciderworks - one of the only cider houses that makes its cider using only Julian apples - thoughtfully paired with a selection of Sweet Petite Confections’ holiday chocolates. This 21+ event is $30 per person.
