San Diego's Ramen OG has launched its 7th location. Tajima Ramen is now open at 3015 Adams Avenue in North Park. The new location was designed by Basile Studio and offers 1,300 of dining space in the building that previously housed Fiesta Market and a menu of Japanese cuisine by chef/owner Sam Morikzono.
Founded in 2001 on Convoy Street, Tajima has earned a reputation as one of the top Japanese restaurants in town and was one of San Diego's original ramen restaurants. Owner and chef Sam Morikizono has harnessed the popularity of his cuisine to expand over the company's 15 years in business, now with two locations in Kearny Mesa and others in Hillcrest, East Village, Long Beach and Tijuana.
For opening night, Tajima North Park is offering all food and drink for 50% off from 5-10:30pm. The menu includes a variety of ramen noodle soups, sushi rolls, appetizers and rice bowls, as well as a dozen beers on tap, wine and sake.
