Chef Steve Brown Launches Cosecha Boozy Weekend Brunch

January 18, 2017

We recently announced that San Diego-native chef Steve Brown is opening The Shipping Yard restaurant in Imperial Beach and has taken over the former-Shima location in Coronado to have a brick-and-mortar space for his Cosecha pop-up meals. Chef Brown has also recently announced that he will start hosting Boozy Brunches at the Cosecha space in Coronado, launching January 28 & 29.

The first incarnations of Chef Steve Brown's Cosecha Boozy Brunches will take place on Saturday, January 28 & Sunday, January 29, with three total seatings taking place at 9am, 11am and 1pm. Reservations can be secured by purchasing a $10 holding ticket online, and menu items will be a la carte with the $10 credit being deducted at the end of the meal.

"For my first Boozy Brunches, it's going to be a very obnoxious and playful menu," explained Chef Brown. "It's going to be a blast - my first casual event in San Diego!"

The Boozy Brunches menu will include items like Oreo waffles, pumpkin pie stuffed French toast, red velvet pancakes, sous vide fried chicken biscuits and gravy, breakfast nachos, and short ribs benedict to name a few. There will also be a bar featuring Jacked Up Bitchin' Bloody Marys, Bangin Beer floats, mimosas, micheladas and more.

The Cosecha space is located at 126 Orange Avenue in Coronado. For more information and to secure your brunch reservation, visit chefstevebrown.com/cosecha and check out the full menu below.
