The Patio Group is not slowing down in 2017. After a busy 2016 that included the opening of Fireside By The Patio, Harvest By The Patio, and Bao Beach, as well as the purchase of Surfrider Pizza in Ocean Beach and the announcement of at least 2 fast-casual eateries dubbed The Patio Express, Gina Champion-Cain's American National Investments corporation is gearing up to launch The Patio Marketplace, a fast-casual cafe that features a collection of offerings from other Patio brands.
The Patio Group is targeting corporate campuses for their The Patio marketplace concept, with the first location now open at 8910 University Center Lane in La Jolla's Aventine complex. The space is a vibrant café that features a collection of all Patio brands including Swell Coffee Co., The Patio Restaurants, Harvest by The Patio, and Andrea's Truffles. The menu will include crafted coffee, cold pressed juice and rotating, seasonal, healthy grab and go food selections.
