Orange County-Based California Fish Grill To Swim Into San Diego | Popular Southern California Seafood House To Open Location In Mission Valley

February 3, 2017

Another Orange County seafood chain is swimming into San Diego. We recently broke the news that Slapfish is opening 5 stores in America's Finest City, but fast-casual seafood restaurant chain California Fish Grill is also heading south and will open its 18th SoCal location in San Diego's Mission Valley, taking over the former In Style Beauty Supply and Salon corner unit within Park Valley Center.

First opened in 1998, California Fish Grill currently has 17 locations around the Orange County & Los Angeles areas. The first San Diego County outpost will sit at 1530 Camino De La Reina, Suite A, in Mission Valley, within the plaza that houses a Kebab Shop, Sammy's Woodfired Pizza, and Capriotti's Sandwich Shop.

Like incoming Slapfish, California Fish Grill is a counter-service eatery centered around affordable seafood offerings. Known for its seafood tacos, the menu has a variety of charbroiled and fried seafood dishes, including taco combos, chowders and salads. The San Diego location will also serve beer and wine.

California Fish Grill is expected to open by this summer. For more information, visit cafishgrill.com and check out the sample menu below.
