Now open at 4403 Convoy Street where a Roberto's Taco Shop location once sat in San Diego's Kearny Mesa neighborhood is Your Story, an Asian fusion restaurant from the owner of Up2You Cafe.
Your Story offers a playful yet refined ambiance, featuring an outdoor patio directly facing bustling Convoy Street and decorated with life-size cartoon characters. Owner Kan Sritong, who also owns 2 locations of popular dessert eatery and bakery Up2You Cafe in San Diego's Kearny Mesa & Linda Vista areas, was motivated to open a savory, full-service restaurant that offered reimagined takes on some of his favorite dishes from around Japan, Thailand, Taiwan and China.
The eclectic menu features an exciting array of dishes influenced by various Asian styles. Highlights include the claw crab cigar - a take on a crab rangoon in spring roll form, a tom yum bisque with lobster meat, a banh mi served on thick Taiwanese brick toast, and entrees like the Crab of Szechuan tempura soft-shell crab, and the AZN Chicken Waffle. The restaurant also serves dorayaki - japanese red bean pancakes and is currently awaiting its beer & wine license.
