Incoming Sweetfin Poké To Host Pop-Up Tasting In North Park This December

November 27, 2017

Opening this December in Westfield UTC, Sweetfin Poké is one of Los Angeles' most popular destinations for the Hawaiian marinated fish dish that's taking San Diego by storm. Prior to its debut, Sweetfin is popping up in North Park for one day only to give San Diegans a taste of what's to come!

LA-based Sweetfin Poké has opened seven locations since first launching in 2015 and will debut its first area location in La Jolla's revived Westfield UTC by year's end. This chef-driven, California inspired concept prides itself on its "Pole to Bowl" philosophy, sourcing only the highest-quality and most sustainable raw fish they can find while still maintaining a reasonable price point. Not to mention, former Bravo Top Chef contestant Dakota Weiss is its founding chef and partner.

Prior to their opening, Sweetfin will be hosting a pop-up with local cool clothing and apparel shop Aloha Beach Club in North Park to give San Diego a taste of their poke. On Saturday, December 9 from 1-4pm, swing by for a complimentary preview of what's to come while shopping the latest in Aloha's Hawaiian-made collection. For those 21+, Barçon Cocktail Co. will be serving up island cocktails and tasty brews while Aloha co-owners Kahana Kalama and Billy Wickens take over the DJ booth as Sunburnt Reynolds.
