Heading into Horton Plaza Park in downtown San Diego is Lager Tap House, a self-pour craft beer bar and sandwich shop anticipated to debut this Fall.
Owned and operated by craft beer fanatics Chad Sherwood and Aaron Speach, Lager Tap House is a gourmet sandwich restaurant and craft beer bar concept with 26 self-service taps, making it downtown San Diego's only self-pour taphouse. Like San Diego's other self-service beer bars, patrons will receive a wristband that will allow them to activate the beer machines and pour as much or as little of each beer as they would like.
To complement the large list of craft brews, Lager will offer a large menu of snacks, salads, artisan sandwiches, paninis, and sausages. Highlights from the sandwich menu include The Big Momma with turkey, cream cheese, Havarti cheese, fresh greens and cranberry spread, and The Godfather Panini with pepperoni, Toscano salami, smoked ham, fresh mozzarella, pepperoncini, shredded romaine hearts, Maui onion, and garlic aioli & pesto spread.
Lager Taphouse is anticipated to open mid-November at 55 Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego.
