Nomad Donuts Woodfired Bagels Now Available At All Barons Market Locations

December 12, 2017

Answering the call for a grab-and-go breakfast option, San Diego-based Barons Market has teamed up with its North Park neighbor Nomad Donuts to bring artisanal bagels to all seven Barons locations in Southern California. Shoppers can now snag one of four bagel flavors - plain, everything, sesame and poppy seed for a gourmet morning meal on the go.

"Since Barons began offering grab-and-go lunches and dinners, our customers have adamantly requested breakfast, too," says Barons Market Vice President of Marketing Rachel Shemirani  "Nomad bagels offer a delicious breakfast option for all our morning shoppers - whether you’re jumping onto the freeway for your morning commute or about to walk your kids to school down the street."

According to Owner Brad Keiller, Nomad Donuts prides itself on using small-batch ingredients from local farmers and community retailers, and globally inspired flavors. His team makes everything from scratch - including the Montreal-style woodfired bagels that were added to the menu earlier this year, inspired by Keiller’s upbringing in Canada.

"Our customers have gone crazy over our handmade bagels since adding them to the Nomad mix in August 2017," says Keiller. "When we learned that Barons Market shares our values of listening to the community and supporting local small businesses, we knew our bagels would be in good hands."

Tasty morning meal seekers can find a whole breakfast bar at any Barons Market store, including Nomad Donut’s bagels for $1.49 and Bread & Cie pastries for $1.99. All locations are open 8am-9pm seven days a week.
