San Diego Reader's Tacotopia Returns For Fourth Year On May 12 | Save On Passes & Enter To Win VIP Tickets

The San Diego Reader is continuing its search to find the best taco in San Diego, and at the 4th annual Reader Tacotopia at Golden Hill Park on Saturday, May 12, over 65 of the top eateries from San Diego, Los Angeles and Tijuana will compete for bragging rights. This year, Tacotopia attendees also get unlimited beer samples from more than 20 breweries. At Tacotopia while you eat your weight in tacos and bask in the San Diego sunshine, there will be live music from some of Tijuana's best bands, lucha libre wrestling, live art demonstrations, beer tastings from 20 breweries, and a cash bar with beer, margaritas, wine and cocktails. All proceeds from the cash bar will benefit The Greater Golden Hill Community Development Corporation. One of the best parts about Tacotopia is that attendees pick the champion. After tasting signature tacos from as many restaurants as possible, ticket holders vote for their favorite vendor and the one who receives the most tokens wins the title of "Best Taco"!

General Admission tickets for this 21+ event are currently only $45 ($50 at the door) and provide entry from 1pm-6pm and include tacos and two ounce beer samples from all vendors while supplies last. VIP tickets are $60 ($65 at the door) and provide early entry starting at noon, as well as samples of all tacos and breweries and 2 drink tickets.
