A Ship In The Woods Music & Art Festival Takes Over San Diego's North County This June 16-17 | Enter To Win Tickets

The inaugural A Ship In The Woods Music & Art Festival will take place within the 50-acre oak grove of Felicita County Park in San Diego's North County neighborhood of Escondido this June 16-17, featuring a diverse lineup of musical performers, contemporary art installations, and local foods and vendors. With grant support from the City of San Diego and County of San Diego along with select sponsors, attendees of A Ship In The Woods will experience a lineup of diverse, notable, contemporary, independent, and emerging performers representing a wide range of genres, including indie-rock, folk, post-punk, post-rock, shoegaze, dreampop, Afrofuturist hip-hop, ambient, experimental, and electronic music. Headlining the event will be artists like Built To Spill, Shabazz Palaces, Bill Callahan(SMOG) and No Age.
  
There will also be immersive outdoor contemporary art installations with a focus on social practice, ecology, and experimentation. There will also be sound installations and performance art, as well as ecological solutions discussions. Food trucks, breweries, craft and retail vendors supporting conscious forward products and practices will be on hand. The mission of the festival will be a continuation of the nonprofit's past programming as an arts and culture incubator merging world class talent with local San Diego artists. 

Tickets to SHIPFEST are currently available online. General admission passes are $60 for a one day pass or $100 for a weekend pass. The VIP day pass is available at $100 and $180 for VIP weekend pass. VIP ticket holders get full access to various amenities, a secluded space to relax, private DJ area, VIP bathroom, complimentary food and drink tickets, front-line access at the entrance, food and drink area and more.
