Punch Bowl Social is opening its doors tonight in the historic building that once housed San Diego’s landmark 1920s boxing venue - the Coliseum Federal Athletic Club - located in the East Village. The space offers two stories of dining, drinking and entertainment space that can hold more than 1,000 people with karaoke rooms, arcade games, ping pong tables, eight bowling alleys, dart boards, a bocce ball court, cornhole, foosball, and more. The restaurant also offers a diner-inspired, scratch-made menu designed by southern culinary sensation and celebrity chef Hugh Acheson. Punch Bowl will also serve a full bar with an exciting array of craft cocktails, booze infused punch bowls, spiked milkshakes, unique mocktails and a wide variety of local beer and wine options. The eatery will also serve weekend brunch starting on Sunday, June 10.
