Freshii is the brainchild of entrepreneur Matthew Corrin, who opened his first location in Toronto in 2005 at the age of 23. The company now has over 395 locations around the world, including in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland and United Arab Emirates. Freshii is a "healthy fast food" franchise with a market component, offering a menu that includes a variety of burritos, wraps, soups, bowls, salads and frozen yogurt for dine-in or take-out, as well as breakfast options, juices, smoothies, and daily meal boxes at most locations. Each Freshii operates as eco-friendly as possible, with all packaging being either recyclable or biodegradable and most made with vegetable starches.
The Pacific Beach location at 1380 Garnet Avenue opened this week and will be celebrating their Grand Opening on June 23. To celebrate their entry into San Diego and officially introduce themselves to the community, franchise partners Chris Allen, Alex Black and John Christiansen are offering guests a free menu entrée on Saturday, June 23 when they download Freshii’s mobile app.

Guests can energize with favorites like the Pangoa Bowl, a craveable mix of brown rice, avocado, aged cheddar, cherry tomatoes, black beans, corn, and cilantro, topped with a fiery BBQ sauce, or the Oaxaca Bowl where a meal is donated to a child in need with each purchase.
Freshii is in the process of a rapid expansion and intends to open more San Diego locations in the future, including an outpost aiming to open by year's end at 121 Broadway downtown. For more information, visit freshii.com.
