He awoke a fire in us with his words and actions, a longing to be free that could only be satiated through great food, unbridaled travel, and deep, unrestricted conversation. He made cooking cool. He made travel feel like an act of rebellion against the status quo. He was gritty, raw, and real. Thank you, Chef. Rest easily in the parts most unknown.
