Moving into the space within Torrey Hills Center in Carmel Valley that last housed BBQ Republic is the 6th location of Fish District, a popular, Carlsbad-based, fast-casual seafood eatery.
Founded in San Diego's North County community of Carlsbad in late 2013 by Irina Rapp and Aleksandr & Marina Sergeyeva, Fish District Eatery has expanded over the years with locations in Carlsbad's Bressi Ranch, Carmel Mountain Plaza, Orange County's Aliso Viejo, Irvine's Woodbury Town Center, and Solana Beach Towne Center. Fish District is a casual, moderately-priced, counter-service fish house with a menu centered around fresh seafood grilled over mesquite charcoal flames. Menu items include ceviches, oysters, tacos, wraps, sandwiches, salads, soups, sushi rolls, poke bowls, fresh fish plates and more, along with beer and wine at most locations.
